The remote control for the air conditioner is located in the upstairs bedroom.
Press the OFF/ON button to turn it on and off.
In summer, the air conditioner should be in the cooling position (the small triangle at the top of the screen should be below the snowflake). If this is not the case, use the "mode" button to toggle between the different operating modes until the correct mode is selected.
The temperature can be adjusted using the "TOO WARM" and "TOO COOL" arrows.
We recommend that you set it to 23 or 24 degrees.
You can change the fan speed with the "FAN" button (press as many times as necessary to reach the desired speed).
If you want to cool the whole second floor, open all the doors, close all the windows (including the terrace door), set the temperature to 24 and the fan speed to maximum. The temperature will drop quickly. Then reduce the fan speed.
It makes no sense to leave the air conditioning on when you're not at home.
The rest of the house has no air conditioning.
To lower the temperature, just do what the locals do: open the windows in the morning and at night to let cool air refresh the house. Keep the windows closed the rest of the day.
